Every Intrys Tally cloud comes with both connectivity options available. Most customers run a private VPN between the office router and the cloud for branches, plus per-user RDP / RemoteApp for staff working from home and CAs.

Site-to-site VPN

IPsec tunnel between your office router / firewall and the cloud VNet. Every device in the office reaches Tally as if it were on the LAN.

FAQs

Does our Tally licence work on the cloud?

Yes. Tally Prime multi-user (Gold) is fully licensed for remote access, including over RDP / AVD / WorkSpaces. Silver (single-user) supports one concurrent user. We help you upgrade to Gold or buy additional users if needed, directly through your Tally Partner.

Where will our data physically sit?

In an India region: Azure Central India (Pune) / South India (Chennai), AWS Mumbai / Hyderabad, or GCP Mumbai / Delhi. This keeps you aligned with DPDP Act expectations and gives you the lowest latency for Indian users.

How fast is Tally on the cloud vs on a LAN?

For typical SMB datasets (under 5 GB company file), users on a 10 Mbps+ broadband connection won't notice a difference - vouchers, reports and prints feel local because the keystrokes are remote-desktop and only screen pixels travel over the wire.

What about the CA / auditor's access?

We create named, MFA-protected accounts for your CA and auditors with time-bound access. They get the same Tally experience your staff get, but you can revoke access in one click at any time.

Can we move from one cloud to another later?

Yes. The Tally company data folder is portable. We've moved customers from on-prem → Azure, and between Azure / AWS / GCP. Typical migration is one weekend.

Do you also support Marg, BUSY, Zoho Books, BankPro?

Yes - we host any Windows-based accounting / ERP app the same way. AVD and WorkSpaces are app-agnostic.

What happens if our internet goes down at the office?

Users can keep working from any other connection - home broadband, 4G/5G hotspot, or a branch office - because Tally lives in the cloud, not on your office LAN.
